Aluminium nitride (AlN) is a high-performance ceramic that is characterised by its exceptional thermal conductivity and electrical insulation.Aluminium nitride is therefore predestined for use in power electronics and microelectronics and is used, for example, circuit carrier (substrate) in semiconductors or as a heat-sink in LED lighting technology or high-performance electronics.
