Silicate ceramic fuse bodies perform key functions in electrical fuses: electrical insulation, mechanical stability, and high temperature resistance. CeramTec manufactures precision tubular and SMT components from silicate ceramics as well as the high-performance material Ziralit.
Ziralit is a zirconium oxide-reinforced aluminum oxide for applications with elevated thermal and mechanical requirements.
