SiAION Ceramic SL 654 C

SL 654 C is a multilayer TiCN/TiN coated cutting material. It is a specialist for “fresh” CI castings and is ideal for machining components cast less than three days prevously.With this grade, tool life is not compromised when "fresh" castings are turned.. Its wear resistance and hot hardness also allow for increased cutting data and higher chip removal rates compared to conventional varieties for machining CI.
