WXM 255
The extraordinary wear resistance of WMX 255 sets new standards for shape and dimensional accuracy. Thanks to its thermally highly-stable binder phase and low chemical affinity to chrome, this grade is particularly suitable for machining hardened ball bearing steels. Extremely long tool lives can be achieved reliably in continuous cutting applications. The excellent crater wear resistance reduces the risk of cutting edge breakage and increases process reliability.
